Get auto insurance before you go! It is a stupid and unnecessary risk to not have it.
I recommend Bernie’s Mexican Insurance. Ask for Shelly. It cost 25-50% of the price that you will pay at the border. She can fax you the insurance before you leave and you can send them a check or give her the money when you come to Rosarito.

WATER AND ICE Although, my refrigerator is set up with an icemaker and water dispenser, I am not confident that even with special filter, it would be safe to drink. I do have a water cooler which can accommodate the large and small standard jugs (like Sparklets). I also, recommend bringing small bottles to take into restaurants. You don’t get free glasses of water like in the US. They charge for bottled water.

SUN PROTECTION Such as, sun tan lotion, beach towels, bathing suits, sun screen, sunglasses, and a hat.

GAMES AND PUZZLES We do have plenty of games and puzzles located inside the coffee tables in the livingrooms. We also have a Nintendo 64 system in the drawer (with games) in the front entrance. But you can bring your own games too.

DVDs Although each unit has 2 TVs with surround sound and Satellite TV with HBO and Cinemax, we also have DVD players with surround sound. So bring your DVDs if you like.
